What personal information we collect and why we do it

When visitors post comments on a website, we collect the data visible in the comment posting form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user entry to protect against spam.

Your email address can be generated by an anonymized hash and provided to the Gravatar Service Provider to verify that you are using this service. Gravatar privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. By posting your comment, your profile photo is publicly visible next to your comment.

When you write a comment on this site, you can choose whether you want your name, email and web page to be saved in cookies. This is done for your convenience so that you do not have to re-enter this data every time you comment. These cookies are stored for one year.
