Products made of 14k (585) Gold does not oxidize so caring for it is very easy.
However, certain stones in rings that are softer in nature, should be worn more carefully. Hardest stones like diamonds, sapphires or rubies do not require additional care, as they will not be damaged easily. If the stone is softer (according to Mohs scale), you really shouldn't wash dishes, wear it while gardening or do any hard work where it can be tinted or broken.
Silver jewelry should be worn constantly in order for it to oxidize as little as possible. Not all rings are worn 24/7, so when you take off the jewelry, you should put it in a separate box or a clean plastic bag, so that the jewelry does not get moisture - hence oxidizes.
We also add a special napkin filled with polishing paste to each piece of jewelry we send. If you want the ring to remain in top shape, just rub jewelry and stone in napkin and brightness and color will be restored. If you want to completely clean the jewelry after months of wearing it, please contact us. For our customers, we clean their jewelry once a year free of charge. ❤️
